Theses

The SPUR research group supervises master's and bachelor’s theses and semester projects. The current topics can be found below (see “Current Topics”). We also welcome individual topic suggestions from students within our research areas, including spatial planning, participation, urban and housing policy, and densification policies.

Students who wish to write their thesis or term paper at SPUR must follow the guidelines for theses and semester projects, which can be found under "Useful Documents." The ETH Zurich Ethics Committee must approve theses by SPUR students involving research on humans before the data collection begins (for the related guidelines, see "Useful Documents" below). Please contact the SPUR supervisor of your choice well before the beginning of the semester to enquire about the procedure for writing your thesis.
